![]() Gloria Hilliard received a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, Mississippi, and a Master of Arts degree from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. She was Assistant Professor of Music at Mary Hardin-Baylor College in Belton, Texas, and has taught music theory at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. She was the accompanist for the Village Voices Chorale from 1981 to 1987 and has been its director since 1987. She is the Director of Music at the United Methodist Church of Westlake Village and a member of the Music Teachers' Association of California, the American Choral Directors Association and the National Association of Church Musicians. Mrs. Hilliard is celebrating her 21st year as the Director of the Village Voices. |
